Sixmile Exterior Cleaning – Job Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Work
Sixmile Exterior Cleaning provides pressure washing, gutter cleaning, fascia cleaning, and related exterior cleaning services. All work will be carried out to a professional standard using appropriate equipment and techniques.
2. Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of the agreed work unless otherwise agreed in writing before the job commences.
- Failure to make payment on completion may result in additional recovery costs or further action where applicable.
3. Risk Assessment and Property Protection
- Before and during cleaning, we assess the condition of the property and surrounding areas.
- If we believe that cleaning a particular area presents a risk of damage, we reserve the right not to clean that area.
- This includes, but is not limited to:
- Areas beneath or around doorways where water ingress may occur.
- Damaged or deteriorating mortar, pointing, or brickwork.
- Pebbledash or rendered surfaces where pressure washing may cause damage or dislodge material.
- Any other fragile, defective, or compromised surface that we reasonably believe could be adversely affected by our cleaning methods.
4. Cleaning Results
- We will make every reasonable effort to achieve the best possible cleaning results.
- However, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all dirt, stains, mould, mildew, algae, lichen, black spots, rust marks, oil stains, or other deeply embedded contaminants.
- The final appearance of cleaned surfaces depends on their age, condition, material, and the nature of the staining.
5. Waste Disposal
- The customer must provide a suitable nearby area where waste material, debris, moss, sludge, or other residues generated during the cleaning process can be safely disposed of.
- Unless otherwise agreed, removal of waste from the property is not included in the service.
6. Soil Beds and Natural Run-Off
- We cannot control soil, mulch, bark, or other materials that disperse from flower beds, borders, or landscaped areas during or after the cleaning process.
- We are not responsible for mud or residue that is washed onto cleaned surfaces by rainfall after the work has been completed.
- Natural weather conditions and drainage may affect the appearance of cleaned areas after completion.
7. Surface Condition and Liability
- Exterior cleaning may reveal pre-existing defects or damage that were hidden by dirt, algae, moss, or staining.
- We accept no responsibility for deterioration, cracking, loose pointing, loose render, damaged seals, existing leaks, or structural weaknesses that become apparent during or after cleaning.
- Once the agreed work has been completed, the cleaned surfaces are deemed accepted by the customer, and Sixmile Exterior Cleaning accepts no responsibility for subsequent environmental effects, weather-related changes, or re-soiling.
8. Standard of Service
- All services are carried out using reasonable care and skill.
- While we strive to achieve the highest standard possible, no cleaning service can guarantee perfect or like-new results on every surface.
- Our obligation is to clean each area to the best of our professional ability using suitable methods while prioritising the safety of the property and surrounding structures.
9. Customer Agreement
By booking and accepting our services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions and understands that certain areas may be excluded from cleaning where there is a reasonable risk of damage or water ingress.
